Through our suite of services, our company manages the entire lifecycle of single-family properties, seamlessly solving the complexities of managing this logistically challenging asset class. Our Leadership

Lance Popp

Founder and Co-CEO

Mr. Popp has over 11 years of SFR experience including running a mortgage brokerage and a SFR opportunity fund. Since 2010, he has been responsible for buying over 12,000 assets and RESICAP has worked with 5 of the largest 8 SFR holders in the US. He holds a B.A. from Georgia Tech and received his MBA in Finance/CRE from Georgia State University.

Andy Capps

Founder and Co-CEO

Andy founded RESICAP in 2010 as a vertically integrated platform for institutional investors of single-family rentals. He is a veteran in this emerging asset class and helped build the portfolio's of some of the largest SFR aggregators in the country, spanning 34 states and managing over 28,000 homes. As co-CEO, he currently manages multiple funds focusing on the Build-To-Rent and Scattered Site strategies, in addition to offering services to third parties across the country.

Rene Dittrich

CFO

Mr. Dittrich oversees our Finance department. Prior to joining RESICAP, he was the Chief Accounting Officer at Front Yard Residential, a publicly traded REIT focused on the single-family rental market. He also held various Finance roles with Credit Suisse in New York, Zurich and Raleigh. Mr. Dittrich is a licensed CPA and has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Business from Zurich University, Switzerland.

Jay Byce

SVP & Co-Founder of ResiBuilt

Mr. Byce is revolutionizing home-building with innovative building techniques, modern sales processes and enhanced customer optionality aimed at providing affordable workforce housing. His previous experience includes serving as SVP of Investments for Colony American Homes, American Residential Properties, and Altisource Solutions. He is an active GA real estate broker and earned his BA in International Business Finance from the University of Georgia.

Nate Simpson

SVP Asset Management & Dispositions

Mr. Simpson has been responsible for the underwriting / valuation, purchase, and disposition of over 9,000 assets. Prior to RESICAP, he worked at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey providing corporate M&A advisory services. He holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

Betsy Wolf

VP Human Resources

Mrs. Wolf brings over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent at all levels. Prior to RESICAP, she served as HR Director for a large healthcare provider based here in Georgia. She also held positions at Liz Claiborne Corporate and David Wood Personnel. She graduated with a degree in Design from Atlanta School of Fashion.

Josh Gehman

VP of Acquisitions

Mr. Gehman brings over 13 years of experience in management, underwriting and acquisition of single-family real estate, including past roles at Altisource, Pantelan and IAS. He currently leads and manages the team for our newest SFR Fund acquisition efforts. He holds a BS in Kinesiology from University of New Hampshire.

Danny Buffery

VP Construction

Mr. Buffery leads our ResiPro construction and renovation division, overseeing a large multi-state team and national vendor network. Prior to RESICAP, he was SVP of Construction & Maintenance for Main Street Renewal and a Regional Construction Manager at AH4R. He is trained in Lean Six Sigma and holds a Design Thinking Certification from the University of Texas.

Mentor Rahimi

VP of Property Management

Mr. Rahimi leads our Operations for Property Management, Leasing, Maintenance and Property Preservation. He brings over a decade of experience in these areas, having previously worked at AMLI Residential, Gables Residential, and most recently, Invitation Homes, where he helmed a portfolio of 15,000+ homes. Mr. Rahimi holds a BA in Economics from Georgia State University.

Kathleen Lorey

VP of Strategic Services

Ms. Lorey is a change agent who specializes in standardization and company-wide transformation. With a passion for all things project management, she prides herself in creating teams that predictably execute and lead with customer service. She has a BA in French from Furman University and an MBA in Technology from Georgia Tech. She is an active member of PMI and ACMP and a proud Atlanta native.
